RASI METAL CUT
CHARACTERISTICS
RASI METAL CUT is a medium coated electrode specially designed for
faster and smoother cutting piercing of all types of cast steel, non ferrous
metals. The advantages of this electrode being stable arc perfect finish and
effective use in all positions.
APPLICATIONS
Ideally suited for all positional cutting and piercing application on cast
iron, carbon steel, low alloy steel and non ferrous metals. It can also be
used with ease for cutting and piercing out the position jobs where gas
cutting is not convenient.
WELDING TECHNIQUE
Hold the electrode positioning towards job to be cut at an angle of 45o and
use sawing motion to cut. The forceful arc produced by the electrode and
sawing motion ensure fast curring. For piercing hold the electrode
perpendicular to the job and use push in all and pull out action till the
job is pierced.

STORE DRY :
Confirm the electrodes are absolutely dry as packed. if exposed and
damp, heat them to 150oC for 30
minutes and use. Note : Rasi Metal Cut 450mm long is also available on request.
